Hi,
I decided to have another play of Factorio after quite a break.
Running from within Steam, on 64 bit Linux (Gentoo to be precise)
I can't seem to get my steam power to work.
There is a water pump, boilers (which are primed with coal), a couple of steam engines, power cables from steam engines to power consuming things like research and electric miners.
This is the second attempt restarting with the same result.
See a screenshot of the setup.
What am I doing wrong?

Re: Power won't switch on`
I noticed my boilers may have been back to front, I have tried reversing their direction to no avail!
Reverted to Factorio 0.14.23, practically the same setup (different sizes and graphics, obviously) and my electric setup is working.

Re: Power won't switch on`
Your boilers should be turned 90 degrees and the steamengines should be above the boilers, if you mouse over the boilers you can see where stuff should go.
Re: Power won't switch on`
Thanks, I saw input/output arrows but thought that the boilers had 3 output options.

Re: [Solved] Power won't switch on
Boilers were changed heavily in .15. They take water input on their 2 width side and output steam on 1 of their 3 width sides. 1 boiler can run 2 steam engines.
