priority splitter

Hi,
how to do a priority splitter? i saw some videos and texts, but i dont know WHERE excatly to put the settings.

May someone tell me how exactly i get this working?

I do it like this:

After the splitter on the lane i wanna prio i set it to "READ CONTENTS" and disable "ACTIVE/DEACTIVE".

On the lanes i want to throttle i set ACTIVATE if more THEN 4 (per lane). Hold mode.

Hold Mode goes on the "Read Contents" belt, it basically means that it will send a signal containing exactly what is on the belt at that tick. "Pulse Mode" only sends a signal for each item the moment it enters the belt tile, this is used for counting items passing over the belt.

And just to clarify, you need to connect the two belts with a green or red wire but I'm sure you've got that already =P
