need help integrating science pack 3
what would be the best way to integrate science pack 3 into my setup most efficiently http://imgur.com/a/qEFlL
Re: need help integrating science pack 3
Would suggest having lines for intermediate products instead of transferring them from machine to machine. Will help be more efficient too, as a single gear machine can make gears for 10 red science.
So you can have, say, a line bringing in iron and circuits. A machine turns the iron into gears, which transfers to building inserters, which transfers to building fast inserters, which transfers to building filter inserters. each pulls from the original line. Then the filter inserter machine exports to multiple blue machines along a line.

move your science buildings up a tile. add a second belt, and long handle inserters.
then you can have science 3 & 4 on the second belt.

You are producing way too much of the intermediate stuff. One inserter assembler can feed 12 green science assemblers, and one gear assembler can feed 10 red science assemblers.
For example, I just posted this design today: viewtopic.php?f=202&t=42718, it has correct ratios (except for overproduction of belts and a bit of cable)
