Worldgen islands - how to reach loot?

My world apparently has an island with a spawner on it.

The spawner (or the turrets) were misaligned, so the spawner was spawning 5 creepers in U shape.

They were no match for me, because they can't swim.
But neither can I.
Is there currently any way how to reach the resulting loot?

I really don't see posibility besides modyfing save to tp player onto island. But that way you can cheat artifacts too. But there's no leight method now.

I noticed in videos that some players were able to put conveyor on water tiles. I don't know if you can go far in the water with this method tho.

I think that you are allowed to build on the tiles that could be walked on.
I took my car and tired it.

There is one spot that is "land-shore-water-shore-land"
Which means that I can place a belt except for one tile.
If I was able to reach the artifacts with a belt, I would be able to use a LongArm to transport them over the water.
Unfortunately my building range is too short for that.

Hmm.. I might be able to use the "entering a car" teleportation.
That would require building two cars, putting one on the island where the water line is thinnest, get on it, move, get off.
And the other car to (hopefully) get back.
But I don't think I am willing to risk getting trapped (even though forever safe)
