Unidentified developer

I'm currently having a small problem with Factorio on my Mac. I downloaded the correct version and purchased the full version, but whenever I attempt to open it it closes instantly and a screen pops up that says cannot open Factorio because it is made by an Unidentified Developer. I've never run into this problem before if my fellow Mac users could help it would be great. Thanks in advance.

It's some kind of anti-malware built into OS X? Does this help?

In the Finder, locate the app you want to open. Most apps can be found in the Applications folder.
Press the Control-key and click the app icon.
Choose Open from the pop-up menu.
Click Open.
