Boilers' temperature is not 100*C

Hi, just a small question: I got my electricity production factory as below, but the boilers' heat is not always meet 100*C. Boilers are fully fed with fuel so there's no way it's insufficent. What can I do?

Build more boilers.

Water flow though boilers and can't be heat so fast to 100*C. You need more boilers in row for that.

I offshore pump can pump enough water for up to 10 steam engines.
17 boilers heat the water exactly enough to power 13 steam engines.
A common ratio therefore is 1 pump + 14 boilers + 10 steam engines. Technically this setup only needs ~13.1 boilers, so you can get away with 13 boilers instead, and you'll loose only 0.7% performance.

You have 3 boilers per some number of steam engines. I can't quite tell. It does not look like enough boilers.

This is my early game steam power layout. Each row of 14 feeds 10 steam engines and each row is fed by 1 pump.

14 boilers. 10 steam engines. 1 pump. Repeat.

Boilers only produce a finite amount of energy. You need MORE.

Ah, thank you guys. I finally get it worked. I had thought that just 3 boilers would be enough to fed 5 steam engines.

But after that, I came up with another problem: My oil factory look like this

Looks awful, right? Because of it, the number of petrolium gas produced is not stable. For some times, it stuck at a number like 0.x for 2-3s and change to another number higher, which leads the oil refinery don't produce oil stably. You guys have any ideas for this?

Oil is really about Balance. You have to use ALL of the products your refinery produces. Ideally you should never have any Light Oil, Heavy Oil, or Petroleum stocked up.

In your case you want to do a few things.

First, Get Advanced Oil Processing Researched.
Next I go with about the same build basically always.

5 Advanced Refineries
1 Heavy Oil Cracker
1 Lubricant
7 Light Oil Crackers
2 Plastic Chemical Plants
1 Sulfur Chemical Plant

I don't recall if this is balanced but its pretty darn close.
Make sure you aren't running chemicals THROUGH storage but next to them. The storage will limit throughput.

Here s a compact layout...Similar to what i do.
