Is there some way to make inserters only pick up one item at a time, even though everything is researched?
I would need that for a smart balanced, combinator based train loading station.

Yes, put 2 inserters in a chain with only ground between them.

How can I connect inserters to the logical network? I have a roboport, logical robots and a passive provider chest well inside the orange area. But if I click "logical network" -button in inserter's window it says that it can not connect to network. I tried normal and filter inserters. How can I do it? I want to have inserter active only if number of stuff in logical network is smaller than a limit.

is the inserter in range of the roboport? you can see the range if you hover over the roboport. if the inserter isn't in the central highlighted area, you have to connenct another roboport

Is there a way to see what seed a generated map has? I know I can get the map exchange string, but I want just the seed so I can try different resource settings on the same map.

Paste in the map exchange string and it will spit out the seed.

Is there a way to get my email/username to not show up on the minimap, yet not have to type it in every time when checking the mod portal? I can remove it from the factorio username field (and start a new game), but then I need to retype it to check the portal and then any new games will have the email covering up the minimap...

You can also login with your username instead of your email and this will be displayed on the map.

How do you place rails in .13? I notice "Straight Rail" and "Curved Rail" have been replaced by "Rail", but I can only ever get it to create completely straight lengths of track. (Thus, no turns, and no splits, since a horizontal rail doesn't connect directly to a diagonal rail without a curve in between, which I can't seem to generate.)
