Map Editor help needed

Hi I'm trying to edit a map that I've been playing in survival for a while! I have tried copying the save file into the scenario folder but it keeps opening the same map as is in the senaio folders and not my save, Anyone know why or what I can do to fix it?? any advice would be greatly appreciated
