Makeing plastic?

I can't make more than 8 units of plastic. I have oil going into storage tanks and 6 refineries. I have one Chem Plant just to get some plastic. When I add the basic oil Process I get 8 plastics and everything stops.

add some tanks for the light and heavy oil output of the refinery until you can get advanced processing and crack those down to petroleum

ratchetfreak, thank you so much. I got all storage tanks up and filling. Now on to plactic and batteries.

In general, whenever something is clogged up it will cause the factory to stall. Look for the little flame above the refinery. If it is not burning then something is wrong.
Refineries could use better visual cues when the outputs are backed up. This question gets asked very frequently.
