TL;DR

Add a button to delete my horrible, ugly first space platform.

What?

You should be able to de-commission an old space platform, and just have it burn up in the atmosphere, so you don't have to deal with it any more. Alternately, it could have an explosive charge and a self-destruct sequence, like in all the sci-fi TV shows.

Why?

My first platform had only three turrets, because I was too tired to route more belts. I barely got to Fulgora with everything half-damaged, and the turrets fully destroyed. Now it just gets hit by asteroids and spams me with notifications. (I mean, it actually got damaged enough to die, while I was typing this post, but I think this is a missed opportunity and easy win. )

It doesn't burn through the atmosphere, but there is a button for self destruction :

A delete button is rather lame, I agree it should indeed be called self destruct or crash on planet or something cool.
