How to turn on the recipe hover popup in assembling machines etc?

Really enjoying the space age expansion.

Wasnt it the case before in 1.x.x that in assemblers, when you set a recipe and hover on it you see the details?
Is there some way to turn this on? I don't want to alt+left click, that's lame.
