I like to build

What I like about the game is that it's easy to build complicated things.
So I think the balance should strive for it to be easier to build and at the same time there should be a need for complex builds.

One example that could be tweaked, is the time it takes to pick up buildings. It's just annoying that it takes so long time to pick up entities as assemblers and inserters.

Construction bots and personal roboports could be buffed and easier to build so it will be faster and easier to use blueprints. Requester chests could be nerfed so boring bot grid factories get less practical and you have to do the belt spaghetti.

There are many more tweaks that can be made for easier building and need for complex builds.

Fairly sure that's done on purpose so you don't accidently mine an important structure by accidently right clicking on it. if you really want to pick up large areas of buildings and entities... mark them for deconstruction, it's way faster. or get a stronger mining axe... the more powerful the axe, the quicker you pick things up.

I've never had an issue with either of these... and I don't think they should change.
One of the changes the devs made to 0.15 to try and "Force you to use belts" was to lock requester chests behind high-tech science... which pissed off A LOT of people. It's one reason why my mod reverts it to requiring only science pack 3.

It's almost like... what's the point in even having logistic robots when you don't have a requester chest?

When you have got that far that you have fast construction bots it's not a problem but it's when you want to move anything before that. I like your better pickaxes but it has the same problem they are not available at the start of the game. It could be a help to not accidentally remove structures but then why have different mining times on different structures?

The logistic robots is also good for the logistic requests so they go and fetch everything you need. Without them you have to run around and find the chest for the items you need. In the start when the factory is small it's not an issue but when the factory grows the logistic requests that restock your inventory is a big help.
In your great mod it's to much for me to build without requester chests so I think it's a good choice that the requester chests are easier to get in the mod than in vanilla.

I'm not saying they're not useful, but in those staged before you get the requester chest, you're literally building a whole Logistic robotic infrastructure just so it can restock you as you use things. In my opinion, the construction side is way more useful due to the blueprint system.

Install the bluebuild2 mod. It will construct and deconstruct entities within your normal reach right from the start. You don't get a speed bonus for deconstruction but it saves you from a lot of clicks. Just walk into the middle of a forest or the factory you want to move and stand for a while while deconstruction works. Same with construction. Just blueprint and then move around from time to time so every ghost is reached.
