On Gleba the player can easily be overrun by pentapod's time evolution factor while experimenting with strategies to eliminate spoilage. Space platforms can work 99% of the time then be randomly destroyed due to bad luck or a small design flaw. The player's life becomes much easier when using the editor to design builds and import them as blueprints. This isn't an issue per se, but the editor is not well telegraphed by the menu or tips and tricks, so if using it is the intended design it should be signposted. Converting a save also makes exploration unnecessary, since the player can find resources and bottlenecks without spending time moving around the map in game.

A related issue is that testing space platforms in the editor the game creates 'platform_n_first_trip_to_<planet>' autosaves that are not overwritten by the game, which can in theory lead to softlocks.
