Server not listed

My server is not being listed on the server list but my friends and I are able to connect to the server. I can connect with the lan ip and my friends can connect with my global IP. The server is not being listed on the server list though. The server and client version are 0.15.40. Any suggestions?
Edit: I tried disabling windows firewall, binding 127.0.0.1, the subnet of the machine and the external ip and none of which make the server show up in the lan servers or the public server list.
