Programmable speaker

The problem is the following: In Hebrew, the only way to translate this is "speaker that-can-be programmed", which is somewhat long.
At first I was tempted to just drop the "programmable" part, but I realized this might cause confusion for people who might think that their physical speakers would be muted. I was thinking to translate it as "robotic speaker" or something similar.

Three questions:
1. (To the developers) Would you be OK with "robotic speaker" for this entity?
2. (To the developers) If these are programmable speakers, are there also "unprogrammable" ones? Or did you just put the word there so as not to confuse players with regard to their physical speakers?
3. (To the community) Does anybody have other ideas for alternative names?

What word is used for combinators?

Something like 'Combinator speaker' would also be acceptable

In Hebrew I just used "machine" (it makes sense in-context; e.g. Decider combinator = "logical condition machine", Constant combinator = "constant signal machine", Arithmetic combinator = "computation machine").

I could say "sound generator" but I'd really like to keep the word speaker in it...

Alternatively, we have a term for "Soundbar" - "sound projector", which could work...
