[0.17.79] Crash When Exploring New Land

Hello, recently while exploring on a world that i had modified the settings to i.e. richness of resource piles and spawn rates of enemies I have expirerenced an issue where when I go and explore new land my game instantly crashes before revealing the land.
I have attempted to uninstall the game and re install and that has helped none. One weird thing though is if I go to an autosave that was ten minutes before the save file I can explore freely but eventually it does not let me explore more land and will crash.

Does this happen on the latest experimental (right click Factorio in Steam, click properties, go to the betas tab, and select 0.18.x)?
