[posila] [0.17.56] Freeze for 9 seconds after map start

In the settings, I have determined that the map is only 10x10 large, because I want to test something and need a blank map. What functions make the freeze and what can I do to stop it?

Hello, please post your log.
On Windows, press Win + R, type in %APPDATA%\Factorio and click OK. File Explorer should open and you should see file called factorio-current.log. If you use macOS or Linux, see paths where to find the logs: https://wiki.factorio.com/Application_d ... _directory

Thanks, log always helps to rule some things out. (How large is your blueprint-storage.dat file? It's in the same folder as a log)

Can you try to do a performance capture for the freeze? See: viewtopic.php?f=49&t=71328&p=434662#p434662

And/or can you try to download standalone ZIP package of the game from our website and see if it has the same problem?

It is actually the file "blueprint-storage.dat", which is 6.93 MByte in size. After I renamed the file and started a map, I was able to move directly.

Of course, I could make sure that the blueprint directory gets smaller. Or is it possible to change this behavior?

Thanks for sharing the blueprint storage. The freeze comes from copying the library to the game state ... that can be speed up.

Please keep this about one performance issue, I am not familiar to much with scripting so it would be best for you to create new threads for other issues (unless it's server syncing huge blueprint library to the game state again)

So it should be about 10x faster in next release (0.17.57)
