I use the U.S. English Dvorak keyboard layout.

On this layout, to type a letter V, you would press the key marked . instead.

In the "paste blueprint" box, the usual shortcut Ctrl-V for pasting does not work -- that is to say, when I type Ctrl-. it does not work. I have to press Ctrl and the V key (the V key in Dvorak is actually mapped to the letter K).

However, everywhere else in the game where text is input (e.g., chat messages), the game properly reads my Dvorak keypresses.

Is this a fresh install of 0.17.17, or an update from an older version? If it is the latter then try resetting the keyboard shortcuts.

What operating system is this, additionally?

Thanks for writing. This is on Windows 10. I am at 0.17.17 (from Steam) and it is an upgrade from 0.16. I am reluctant to refresh all the shortcuts, because it seems like that would mess up my WASD (which is ,AOE on Dvorak) and I don't want to have to fix it all again. I had to remap several of the key options when 0.17 came out. Ctrl-V worked in 0.16, though, and stopped working with 0.17.

Aha, but that's the maddening part. Whereas the new Copy/Cut/Paste feature recognizes a keypress of Ctrl-. which maps to V in the Dvorak layout, the SAME keypress, while in the "import blueprint string" box, does NOT work as paste. I just assumed it was broken forever. It is really inconsistent to have Ctrl-V work in one place and not in the other.

And there appears to be no place to remap this in the "import blueprint string" box, nor is there a way to right-click on it to pull down a menu that says Paste.

Frankly it would be easiest if there were just a button that says "paste from clipboard."
