Game got massive slowdown on FPS and UPS while posting huge message on console.



How to reproduce:
launch a game
open the chat console
type a very long message (WWWWWW...)
post it
watch your FPS/UPS dropping hard while the message stand on screen


Strange behaviors
In single player the message is quite quick to get on screen but on multiplayer it can takes few seconds to get an answer from the server and then getting the message displayed on screen.
Yes it's seems to impact everyone on the server.

I don't know if it's possible to crash the server with this method but i nearly got a 20sec game time out in singleplayer with quite a beafy computer.

I'm not sure about this but it also seems from my resources manager (htop + radeontop) i got some lag spikes while my CPU is processing the messages then that's my GPU who lag when displaying the message on screen.

I was also able to copy/paste text in console chat after sending my message (while it was processed by the CPU) by copying text form an another program.
