I'm also seeing inconsistent behavior:
  1. Start dropping items on a belt.
  2. Walk parallel to belt while holding the drop key.
  3. Stop walking while cursor is still over belt. Continue to hold drop key.
Expected items to continue to drop, but behavior is inconsistent.
