[0.17.1] Crash on esc press while copy pasting in multiplayer

I'm in a multiplayer game not as host, if I press ctrl+c to bring up the copy paste tool, hold the left mouse button to select something(in my case it was something like two assembly machines, a medium power pole and a few inserters), release the left mouse button and quickly press esc just after that the esc menu doesn't appear and game crashes, expected result is esc menu appearing and game not crashing. I'm pretty sure it's related to pressing esc between when you release the left mouse key to finishing selecting an area for the copy paste tool and the ghost/blueprint actually appearing on your cursor, tests in single player with simple blueprints didn't cause any crashes.
I've first experienced this in 17.0, saw that it might have been fixed in 17.1, updated and then reproduced it first try, log attached.

I've got something similar.
I'm alone on my multiplayer game (I'm the host), I use a blueprint to count my miners so I hold left click and drag over with my mouse. Then I press esc to cancel the blueprint, while still holding left cilck btw, the esc menu appears and my game crash when I release left click.
I expect no crash when I release left click.

It happens multiple times before I understand what cause the crash and I can always reproduce it.
I'm on 0.17.1, haven't try in solo tonight.

Thanks for the report. It's now fixed for the next version of 0.17.
