[0.16.51] Crash on start

Hi,
I just bought the game and instaled it but it won't start. I press play on steam, the game exe starts but no loding and after while crash window pops up.
I haven't done anithing special (no mod, no previous files).

Post the dump please, it is in the same directory as the log. Try if deactivating the steam overlay helps.

An important often-overlooked facet of Steam is that it still hooks even if you disable the overlay. My suggestion would be to see if using the stand-alone version
available here helps anything. Also try forcing OpenGL, by putting the line "force-opengl=true" in Factorio's config.ini file (config directory inside the directory you got the log and dump from).

It turns out the issue was computer wide and I had to reinstall my whole computer. After reinstall Factorio runs as it should.
So for everyone with this issue: Try launching Minecraft, if it doesn't work too reinstall.
