I'm playing with a friend and whenever I try to place something at a wrong spot, he hears the "not able to place here"-sound and I don't.

Thanks for the notice, it is fixed for 0.11.1 now.

I am playing 11.1 and its still happening. I am on a non-LAN game if that counts. I am the host I can her is "Not able to place" sound and he can not.

kovarex probably meant 0.11.2, since 0.11.1 was already out at the time he posted that message.
