[0.16.38] Direction-dependant inserter inconsistency

Bug in action
Inserters are inserting their items off to one side, which doesn't matter when using belts but does dramatically change their inserting rate onto splitters.
You can see north/south inserters inserting onto the west side, and east/west inserters inserting onto the north side, regardless of splitter direction.
Interestingly, this doesn't seem to happen on belts, on which items are inserted relative to belt direction.

I know this is probably low priority, but it really hinders this unloader design I've just discovered:

For the love of throughput and elegant design, please help this beauty attain its full potential.

You can work around the direction dependency, and at the same time boost the output to the limit, this unloads to belts as fast as the wagons can unload to the chests:

You related to XKnight by any chance? That's the best splitter stunt I remember since his sorters.

I've reported what is probably the same bug under different circumstances here.

Indeed seems related.

Ok, so I actually had to admit, that there was an inconsistency.
You can see it in the video actually, that in one side, the item is actually placed on the edge of the tile, instead of the middle. It is fixed for the next version now.

Teraka - set the input priority of the splitter to the side the inserter is inserting on, and put another splitter after it, for even faster unloading :)

(that outputs a fully compressed blue belt of ore on its own) I have not tested the ups efficiency of that second splitter, but this is the fastest way I came up with to put items on a belt.

This is the fastest way I came up with to take off a belt. Inserter doesnt even swing to pickup items - both belts just feed the hand, limited by belt speed.
