[0.16.7] Artillery targeting remote targets wrong position

If you use the Artillery targeting remote in the map view, a wrong target will be selected. This only happens when you are zoomed out a bit.

Steps to reproduce:
1) open map
2) zoom in as far as possible
3) use the targeting remote to shoot an artellery shell. The target will be selected correctly.
4) now zoom out
5) use the targeting remote again. Now a target next to your player character will be selected.

I made a short video where this behaviour is shown: https://youtu.be/xn9eBPqymlw
I dont have any mods installed.

Thanks for the report. I tried to reproduce what's in your video but no matter what I do it works correctly.

Can you try going into controls and clicking reset and see if it still happens?

Thanks for your answer, the reset fixed it.
Its strange because I never changed anything in the settings (except for volume and graphics)

BTW today we found out that using the power switch via the map view did not work for me neither, this also works fine now.

TL;DR its fixed :)

There are some reports on reddit about occurrences of this bug.

Massive artillery train, video of changing controls, firing, destroyed train at the end.
Another report, OP confirms swapped controls in comments

Seems like it's definitely triggered by swapped key bindings.

Should have asked him to save the old bindings first for comparison. :(
