Hello,
this one is odd but I reproduced it. The finding out what exactly made it not save was weird.

I was building a belt array as shown in the picture and misplaced boxes, passive provider instead of requester and it saves fine.
After replacing it with requester chest it crashes on save.

As I wrote this I got curious and placed somewhere another requester chest. Same problem.

Clearification: I load into a save, put a requester chest down, it crashes on save.

This is a save file imported from 0.15

I just had another look at the save and tested it.
The logistic network I put the chest in doesn't matter.

Edit: Never mind, it was consistent and now it happens with other stuff (in the last case express underground belts), too
Edit2: After more testing: After about a minute after the save I uploaded, whatever I do: It doesn't save. Tried it with autosave as well.

Thanks for the report. The log file doesn't show any crash in it - are you sure you uploaded the correct file?

I had to kill it with the task manager.
If there is any other log I can dump I will.

The save screen appears and then nothing happens. I tried waiting ten minutes but the green bar wasn't even visible.
If anyone would try open the game save and wait about 5 minutes and try to save then, that might help.

So, it has not technically crashed, I think. You are the professionals.

Can you upload the mod(s) you're using as well?

It happens with and without mods but here you go.

Do you know if any of the mods you're using change entity forces or teleport entities around?

I am not sure what "change entity forces" means but they 'shouldn't' teleport.

A light mod because youtube
A fix for the biter blood (there shouldn't be any though)
Personal crafting speed increase
Infinite research for Inserter and Robots
Long reach (instead of double reach which I used in 0.15)
And an entity renamer mod

Ah, and I forgot the Powerandarmor mod which gives MK3 and 4 power armor.

But again, if I turn off all mods and load into the game I still have the same problem. I just tried again turning all mods off, loading in and trying to save. (And yeah, I am administrator, even though I wasn't for 195 hours of playtime, just to make sure I tried that )

Ok, it's now fixed for the next version of 0.16.

I'm getting a similar crash on 0.16.9. I was having the game freeze on save ever since I added a logistic network. I have attached the save too. I haven't figured out what next action triggers the saves from failing. Adding more logistic chests seem to do it.

One of the times, it even crashed, so I have a crash dump to attach. This happened when I saved after removing some of the logistic chests.

Let's see if it's the same thing when 0.16.10 is out tomorrow morning.

I am on 0.16.10 now and I still can't save.

Edit: Tried is without mods again, too. Same effect.

I am on 0.16.12 and it seems to work.
