After receiving the next objective after researching Automated rail transportation in the "New hope" level 02 campaign it's not possible to save anymore, every time I try to save or when autosave tries to save a Notice message box shows up saying: Notice that saving works after completing the research and objective, but it won't work after the new objective pops up on the screen.

I don't have any mods installed.
I tried again by loading from a previous autosave and restarting the game and the issue is still there.

I have attached the log and a save created a few seconds before the objective is completed.

Came across the same issue.
For those looking for quick fix:
- download new hope 2 fixed save game;
- extract contents;
- copy controls.lua;
- open your last save file;
- paste within controls.lua from fixed version;
- zip back the save file;
= enjoy finishing up your scenario;
