When I was drinking my morning coffee before work, I was watching my factory and I noticed previously working trains running out of fuel. The inserters are not loading--at least solid fuel--into the train engines, anymore. I know the trains were stopped properly, too, because the pumps engaged and unloaded the train.

after the patch my trains don't get fueled anymore using inserters. Neither rocket fuel nor coal will get inserted into the train:



The exact same setup has worked fine before the patch.

Let me know if you need a save.

I read the change that inserts no longer take fuel from locomotives, but they won't fuel them anymore either.

What I did was the following:

Setup a fueling station with solid fueld
Place a train somewhere on the tracks
Set the fueling station as next station
Add 5 coal to the train
Set train to automatic while I was inside
Remove remaining coal as soon as it reached the station

* Deleting and placing a fresh train didn't help

Was just about to report this too. It seems to me this happens with any fuel and any inserter as well.
It's a shame that this happens, this update was really awesome otherwise. Hopefully there's a fix soon.

These crazy Devs will have a fix pretty soon i think. These guys never sleep nor taking brakes. :'D

Thank you guys! Just happened upon this and I was wondering why my smelters were empty!!! train blocked the entire network because it was out of fuel!

I hope the patch comes soon. i cant play till the fix comes as my base is at a deadlock with no running trains

You were not kidding... 0.15.8 is out!!! And the trains are once more loading up with fuel! Amazing work guys!

I'm having problems with trains. I can get in a train (while other people crash on this), but I also crash when I try to right-click. Note: I didn't get a hover over the locomotive.

I had the train not loading fuel bug as well, but then after installing 0.15.8 if i'm on a locomotive and i try to open the GUI the game crashes. I can attach the log file if needed, and if i can help in any way drop me a PM (i write bugs for a living...)

You opted in for a beta version. If you want to play a stable version of the game, 0.14.x is still around. Bugs are bound to be introduced as work continues.

I fucking Love this guy! I launch the game at about 4 pm, there is a new update. Notice a bug, go to report it, only to find out that he has already fixed the bug! If this was any other company, they would probably have left the bug in there for a week. Great Game, Great Guy.

Yes it is a bug. If you are in a train and you mouse over it, the game crashes. It is reported and they know about it.

There is still a minor issue here, and another one with a missing "no fule" icon.

However in this case, both issues are resolved by re-placing the train.

I have no idea how it happend, which probably isn't very helpful, but i've attached two save files to illistrate the point. Hopefully thats of some help. At some point between those two points (about an hour and ten minutes apart), two trains of three stopped accepting fuel.

• In the first save the first train is not being loaded, but the others are. Also, this train is out of fuel, but the icon is not showing.
• In the second file, just over an hour later of play time, all three trains are not being loaded. All are empty, but only the bottom train is showing an empty icon.

Both of your saves and both trains are working correctly. The first one is waiting at the signal which is red to drive forward to "Coal 1" - it isn't out of fuel yet which is why it isn't showing the out-of-fuel icon. The second one is out of fuel but is in automatic mode which means nothing interacts with it until it arrives at a station of is switched to manual mode. Because it's out of fuel it can't drive and trains don't switch to manual mode on their own.
