Map was made in 15.1, launched first rocket in 15.2. Did not get game over screen or expected achievement (Steam all the way) and there is no rocket counter in the top left of the screen. There are science packs in the rocket result inventory however.

I tested the game on a new map, and launching the rocket works as intended:


Your savegame seems to have lost the control.lua, did you edit your savegame at all?
How did you start this map?

I've updatet to .15.3, and launched another rocket. Now the statistics are updated, but I still don't get a victory screen.
Map was freshly started with 0.15.0, no mods installed

I've launched 2 rockets so far and should get the victory screen and 3 achievements (win the game, no laser, no solars), but nothing happens

If you launched rocket number 2, unfortunately the victory is only triggered after the very first rocket launch

Can I somehow reset the counter so I still can get the achievements?

Thanks the new patch fixed it for me and now I don't have to start a new map!

Also failed to receive a game over screen after first rocket launch and playing on factorio 16.20. game is modded but not sure if that's the cause.....

Edit: after creating a world ready to launch a rocket, saving the game, then loading the save with various selections of mods, i've narrowed down a few culprits (there were several) that i never would have thought of before, i'll contact the mod authors and let them know their mod actually prevents a bunch of achievements and end-game dialogue from appearing.

Edit: As of time of writing: FTweaks and Orbital Ion Cannon both prevent the "end of game" dialogue from appearing, as well as any and all associated achievements as far as my testing can confirm, this is likely due by their design and the fact that the content they add to the game was designed to be post-rocket launch, but as it completely prevents the triggering of the "end game" event, achievements associated or tied to the end of game cannot be gotten with either of those mods (or,possibly other mods that alter any code related to rocket launches or end game material) installed....i've notified the respective authors of the mods, and also confirmed i am an idiot for thinking originally that this was due to an update in the original factorio game.
