[0.10.0] Red and green wires have possibly unlimited range.

When hooking wires between poles, the range seems to be the same as the "wire reach" listed on the wiki. (https://forums.factorio.com/wiki/inde ... stribution)
However, when attaching to a chest or inserter, the range appears to be unlimited. A little X comes up when it is ostensibly out of range, but clicking still places a wire. In fact, the range appears to be unlimited. http://youtu.be/QEP-cleZKHQ
I should also note that you can't copy a wire out of range.
