Things that are NOT bugs - PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

There are some things in the game players think that are bugs but are actually features.
1.
The Well
Place an offshore pump on water then landfill over it like in the picture and it still pumps water is not a bug. You made an underground pump or well.
2.
Land Fish
Fish that can swim in land.
"Those "land fish" are the ancient ancestors of the biters. Through aeons of evolution the fish first ventured onto the land and then evolved into what we now call biters." --nonstickfrypan
3.
Island Spawn
You spawn on an island unable to continue the game. By defenition this is NOT a bug the terrain generator works as expected but it gives unexpected results. The developers have stated that it is not worth their time to fix it currently since you can just press "Restart" and it will generate a new map with the same settings. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3492
