bug:

After double-clicking the shortcut to start the game, the game starts minimized and is unable to un-minimize unless the workaround below is used (clicking on the factorio bar on the taskbar does nothing). After the workaround is used, the game can be minimised and maximized normally. This bug occurs every time I start the game without exception. Otherwise the game behaves normally.

game:
Factorio version 0.9.8 build 9400 win64

system:
laptop, HP pavilion dv6
dual monitor, but bug persists when I only use single monitor.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
CPU: Intel Core i7 2670QM @ 2.20GHz Sandy Bridge 32nm
graphics card: 2048MB ATI Radeon HD 6770M (HP)
video card driver: AMD Driver Packaging Version 8.882.2.3-110930a-126477C-HP
Catalyst Control Center Version 2011.0930.2209.37895
Ram: 8,00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)

maximising this way works, and the rest of the game runs smoothly.

yeah I have same problem all the time and it's about location of window.

solve for that:
hover mouse over the preview of window
right mouse click on preview
click Move
then press arrow key (any arrow)
move mouse around
u should see ur window


BTW. I have exactly same PC (laptop) also with dual monitor ^^

I created a fix for that that will be applied in version 0.10. (That should be released on friday)

But as it doesn't happen to me, I can't properly test it, so please let us know if it still persists in 0.10

Hi,

We are on factorio 11.15 and I have still this problem. Window is far right top corner.
Maybe you can add file with last window position and use it after next start?
