It's as if the water likes to go counter-clockwise (favouring a right turn), as the heated water is making it back up on the right side, as evidenced by the temperature being 100C in the upper right pipe.

This behaviour does not appear to exhibit itself if the input pipe is on either edge, and not in the middle as my pictures show (I have two more stacks to the left, that operate as expected).

The end result is that I am not getting full 100C water to my engines, as I do in my other stacks.

I have fixed this by moving the input pipe over by one square. I couldn't find another post talking about this.

Is this a bug? Or a weird water logic that water likes to go right preferably?

Hopefully I was clear enough explaining the issue?

Thanks

Just use the boring 1:14:10 single pipe design. Steam engines are not designed to work with anything else.

Well, the fluid movement is kind of magic. There are ways to make it more real, but they are not performance friendly.
