[0.12.1] [kovarex] Electric pole blue-range with Low Video Mem.

Steps to reproduce:

This was also an issue in 0.12.0, and I have no idea how far back. I only just started playing on this computer and it's too choppy even on "Low" graphics.
  • 1. Start a game with "extra-low" graphics settings EDIT: AND "low" Video Memory (screenshot)
    2. Place an Electric Pole (standard, medium or maybe big)
Expected result:

The blue highlight around the pole is centered around the pole, and accurately represents what will be powered by the pole.

Also, the icons in my toolbar are a mix of perfectly-recignozable (curved rail, liquid storage tank) and horribly-distorted (everything else). It would be really nice if toolbar/inventory/research icons were displayed with full-resolution textures, especially with how "Copper wire" and "Electric mining [thing]" both look mostly-empty in this mode.

I can't reproduce it on my end. Might have something to do with your system.

Windows 7, 64-bit
2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU
4GB RAM
GeForce 7600 GT

I did a bit more testing today, and noticed it only happens when "video memory" is (also?) set to "low".

I've updated the title and content of the main post accordingly.

(The good news is I can see the proper range of electric poles with "All" video memory now, and it's not choppy -- but my complaint about toolbar/inventory icons still applies.)

Thx for the report, it is now fixed for 0.12.2
