[0.11.22] [ondra] Game doesn't load when config/mod-list.json is corrupted
I just got the game and I love it and play it a lot but when I play it a long time it comes up with a error that it couldn't read a file first it was config now its mods (I don't have any) and I have to re-download it and remove my save and put it in the new one. Its not that big of a deal for me but does anyone have any help?

Could you attach the corrupted files? Even if there is nothing in them, they might still be helpful in trying to track down the source of the corruption.

Thanks. It's a shame the forum won't let you add .json files – I guess changing the file ending might help.
I've made the game ignore config.ini errors. Also saving config.ini and mod-list.json should now be less prone to error (hopefully). This should help the situation.

When unable to add a specific file extension, I zip the file, as most forums accept zip extension. The operation is as quick for the uploader as it is for the downloader.proudeden wrote:The other two are .json files and I cant add them.
Koub - Please consider English is not my native language.

I enabled direct upload of the json extension on the forum.

Do you want me to resend it? or is the .zip ok?kovarex wrote:I enabled direct upload of the json extension on the forum.
Re: [0.11.22] [ondra] Game doesn't load when config/mod-list.json is corrupted
The .zip is fine, I got the file okay. Thanks.
Now to just find out what's causing it. Both files are filled with zeroes, which means it's neither a partial write, nor a completely empty file. Peculiar.

I did not open them I just opened the config, this happened after I have played it for a while I didn't mess around with them at all. (In case you were wondering)Oxyd wrote:The .zip is fine, I got the file okay. Thanks.
