When I dropped items to Aquilo, some of my drop slots turned into opaque yellow squares, making it impossible to see the actual item.

I expected to be able to see the items behind a transparent yellow square or partial square instead.

(Unfortunately I can't reproduce it now, and forgot to save a game at the time. I can give you the save just before I traveled to Aquilo?)

That looks like the same shade of yellow as the yellow circle that goes over items that are due to be dropped but are on a cooldown. Nice find!

Got a save, it's on the Aquilo to Nauvis 2 platform.

The bug only happens sometimes, and only for some drop slots. I got it on a platform at rest at Aquilo when I'd just built a cargo landing pad, then again in transit.

I've got a somewhat similar bug. Not yellow squares, just a yellow shape blocking some icons. Only some types of items are affected, no matter which drop slot they occupy.

I've had the exact same thing happen with that same angle shape, shortly after upgrading to 2.0.25. I only noticed it once in the ~30 hours since the upgrade and it didn't seem to affect gameplay, so I didn't bother with my own bug report when it occurred.

I guess that the purpose of releasing experimental versions is so people can submit bug reports while only a minority of players are affected by the bug, so it can ideally be fixed before the latest stable version is release and it affects more people. It's not game-breaking so not a big deal (I think crashes are the main factor to decide to release as "stable"). It's always a good idea to submit a bug report if a bug hasn't already been reported.
