Upon starting the game, I had a both the Mini Factorio mod and another mod that disabled vanilla menu simulations; I noticed that when it would go to a particular simulation, the game would crash.

I went and removed the mod that disabled the vanilla menu simulations, and noticed that the same thing happened with a different simulation. I don't know what entity is causing the crash, if that is indeed the case.

Thanks for the report. For 2.0.25, I added minimum collision box restriction to cargo bays, cargo landing pads and space platform hubs. They are required to be at least 4x4 (or 2x2 if they don't define connections graphics). This will fix the crash.

You didn't fix it, you just moved one problem to another.

They fixed the crash to desktop. Now the mod maker will get a proper error message so they can fix the mod definition. That's how this works.
Edit: unless there's another crash report you are taking about.
