[1.1.72] can not remove an area in Map editor

in Map editor, click Tools --> Areas and positions --> Area, the tooltip of the Area tab say "Left-click and drag to create an new area. Shift+ Right-click to remove an area. ...". then Left-click and drag create an new area in the map, then the bug come, the Shift + Right-click can not remove the area.
