[1.1.62] Crash after high memory usage

Since the newest patch, I have a problem with Factorio taking up all my memory until the game crashes. This can happen just sitting on the title screen. I've tried removing all mods and reloading the game, but the same thing happens.

Any ideas on what's causing this and how to fix it?

I got the same issue

Factorio 1.1.62 is either crashing or consuming memory until whole system crashes.

No mods installed, clean new install without changing any settings.

I'm sorry, I've been doing some troubleshooting on my own. I just now reran the game until it crashed and edited my previous log with the newest log.

This is related to the new SDL audio backend and your 5.1 channel configuration.
While I'll troubleshoot this, can you try setting your audio interface to stereo?

Yes, you were right. I switched my SoundBlaster Z card from 5.1 to stereo and it seems to be working now.

Yes, you where right, changed the sound configuration from 5.1 to Stereo, and everything works just fine (GOG Client).
