FYI, I've not been able to reproduce it since the latest fix went in, so it does seem to be largely fixed.

I am able to reproduce the bug on windows. I "zoom to map" and then go out two times on my mouse wheel, find the spot on the map and it works every time.
I do not have this issue on Ubuntu. I was using the same save file.

I have attached my windows log. I would have done it before, but I couldn't figure out how to attach two files.

EDIT: Just a note: I tested on Ubuntu with a different computer with a completely different set of hardware and of course drivers.

Please try this executable instead.

The executable solves my problem. I had to place it into my steam installation folder, which I hope is inconsequential.
