I was playing on a multiplayer server... After saving the game and reloading it, I noticed that one of my splitters was showing its health, even though it was not damaged and is at full health. I'm unsure how this happened.

Re: [0.11.3] Health Bar Displaying Unnecessarily
Happens all the time when I'm driving around and hit a tree - health bar shows up, but it's still at 200/200. Guess health is a floating point value?

No, I didn't. I'm just reporting this bug to let the developers know. I'll repair it soon and see what the outcome is, perhaps it will be of interest.DaveMcW wrote:Did you try repairing it?
It seems potential. If it is a floating point value (though it doesn't make total sense to be a float), it seems that the display is rounded but the whether the health bar gets displayed depends on the exact value.Align wrote:Happens all the time when I'm driving around and hit a tree - health bar shows up, but it's still at 500/500. Health bars display below entities. I don't see it properly on the picture, but my guess is that the splitter has full health and the health bar belongs to the damaged transport belt above it. That would also explain why it is not centered (because it is centered to the transport belt). That would be not a bug.

It does look like that the case in OP's picture, but this definitely happens a ton while driving around in the car.
Re: [0.11.3] Health Bar Displaying Unnecessarily
In the end we fixed the description, so now you would see 199 health for the car even though it is just slightly damaged. 0 and full health (200 in this case) now means "dead" and "not even scratched"
