Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion
Guys, is it really a problem that glassworks takes 27MW? I was really busy with other staff like figuring out how to build and organize moss/trees/auogs/others and other staff in the early game. Yeah, science was made slowly, few flasks per min or less, and it was enough. I made a loop trees->coal/...

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion
I agree that it's insanely expensive but at the same time I kinda see that as a clear game design choice. there are a ton of things in the early game making things super hard on you. no assemblers/splitters/undergrounds, horrifically low yields from ores and indeed glassworks taking up insane amoun...

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion
Eureka that was more or less planned also I didn't expect people would try to run them useing raw coal based setups How are you supposed to use wood?! There's no automatic way to collect wood/make wood without getting through red science to coal processing unless I missed something, right? And 10 w...

Re: pY Alien Life - Discussion
No other mods. Technology antiviral drugs shows me 1-2 output with 1 cage, so I thought it would be 150% Output. But I´m far away from this^^ If it is intended to produce additional cages then everything is fine. Will check Btw raising animals directly loses cages BUT raising the Cubs does not and ...

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion
That would be a good way Or simply start off with say 4 small oil dericks that would be enough fuel by volume and value for a fee glass works And yes how hard getting that fuel drops very fast by red green it can be fully automated from water Also the power as fuel ,usage in glass might have been al...

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion
I completely agree with Crixomix. Just started a new game and the beginning phase is just horribly slow due to need to fuel your glassworks. It's a massive step back from the way things functioned previously. Immortals comments relate to once you get your science going and have syngas or other proc...

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion
so in a sense now u need less fuel you can pick it
also coalgas >syngas is a X2 in fuel value straight up not to mention u can loop the tar back so it is lore like a X2.5 or so in terms of fuel value from the same resources

Re: pY Coal Processing - Discussion
So back to the whole "glassworks takes 27MW" discussion. I'm really trying to have an open mind here, but I just don't understand how this is a good thing. I've played through the py early game many times (back before glassworks building & the liquid fuel stuff) and this new method is...

Re: pY Petroleum Handling
since stone blocks themselves are just cooked rocks I don't think it's so strange to use them for hot air, but to have them consumed entirely seems really weird. but i can accept that as part of the gameplay - excess rock can be used to increase smelting productivity. okay, fine. what *does* bother...

Re: Tholins
that sounds like we would get back rocket parts. i thought well maybe it is just not shown in the capsules description and tried it out. but no, you do not get any back. rip :) so while that may be realistic, it kills the usage of tholins in my opinion. for 100 rocket parts (lets say built with pro...
