In any case it doesn't add to the gameplay to stop the pump when the output might be full, to keep it running shows useful information to the player, that the pump is active. Stopping the pump with a blocked output, could lead to a confusion whether it is stopped due to a circuit condition or the o...

Not sure what sort of devices you're talking about, but turbomachinery is generally designed to stop (when this is possible to do safely), in cases of blockage of the input or the output. That's working as intended. The pump animates when it tires to pump - if it succeeds or not depends on the pipes/contents. Well, with all due respect, from a realism point of view, the way it "was intended" doesn't make sense - it should animate when it succeeds (as in the 2nd example), n...

When finishing level 3 ("narrow bridge, how can 3 belts pass?"; attached save) it is supposed to be fully cleared for the next stage (where the red belts are introduced), but some part remains:
