Very nice idea. The rails almost hide in the concrete. Might like to have the actual track stand out a little. With increased costs it would be natural to expect some improvement to regular rails. If the game uses friction/drag you could reduce the wheels friction, perhaps allowing for greater speed.

Some players hate the start. This change makes the start even more cumbersome.
I like the start, or used to anyway.
Please consider reverting to the classic behaviour of Split Entity.

I have tried pausing the game while two players joined and it didn't work. It may be due to my slow laptop.
My connection had good pings (50 and 80), and my speed is sufficient (10/10 mbps).
We got the game going and it ran smoothly after we used sequential join.

As long as this stands it will not work simply publishing an IP. The players need a chat lobby to coordinate joining. Perhaps at some future date a project like this may become useful.

OK - so you can publish an IP on the site. I dont think I'll use that.
I have no public IP so I need to go on some kind of VPN NAT puncher. Evolve seems to do the trick and includes voice chat and groups to find players.
