Alright, what about just restoring water that has been land-filled? atm, there is no way to tell a landfilled area from natural land. The usual way to get the time is by using a watch . Many people also use their phone nowadays. But the watch works really well. I know it's an old technology, but it does the job pretty well, and you can have it with you when you're not playing Factorio, which is practical when your gaming rig weigh...

The devs have said that they would nod give to the player a way to create insurpassable areas, because it would allow unsurpassable defenses without the need to defend against biters.
