That was an experiment a long time ago. Basically it is a respawn building for the player. If he dies and has the player port, he will respawn there.

... attack me. I and 4 Turrets (walled in with pipes) are needed to stop them. After the battle i want to walk again in the base - every creeper is respawned - what the heck? I will try to come from the left inside the base, don't know if this works... But maybe i'm just bad in factorio, or makes ...

i know that old creepers were even too easy to handle, but with 7.0 they are hard to kill and respawn nearly instantly, with full power armor(shield and turrets) i can't even get close to their base because they get on me and when i finish killing them they just have respawned ...

onplayerdied is not called on a respawn (from what I can tell). You'd have to monitor the health of the player. It works with what you asked us to test: using game.getplayer().health==0 then for ... end and entity.destroy() not entity.destroy()

And the event onplayerdied is called when respawning? or it is not? it works with health==0 and entity.remove(), or with the event and entity.remove()?

yes i changed my opinion.
the onplayerdied event exist.

but sadly it seems that the onplayerdied event isnt called when the player can respawn. but you already noticed that before.

... health or I'd do a proper test, but this would seem to show that onplayerdied does exist (in 2.10), but is only called on a true death. not when respawning

... recreate the player-entity in the onplayerdied event. The death screen wont be pooped out, we are talking about when a player port (an entity that respawns the player) is placed.

How many ticks do the player take to respawn? I can wait one tick, then check if the player have health (so he have respawned) and then run the other part

Would that work? That wouldn't work, because when the player is respawned, the entitydied event is not created, just when he finally dies. We could make special event for that (oncharacterrespawned), in that case it could be done this way: if event.name="oncharacterrespawned" ...
