... the bugs, they don't even pathfind around. I feel I should mention I'm playing on a belt world, and that the bugs are walking trough surfaces of water also, either shallow or deep. I am absolutely clueless and none of the ressources I could look up seem to mention this before. Please help!

In whole game not exist equipment to extinguish burning forest.
To not complicate this idea, just tank could be used as water cannon.
It could be also use as no damage weapon to push back biters.
