... what :? ? I was talking about spanning trees from graph theory, you can place your stuff wherever you want, it's just a visual representation that minimizes the number of lines drawn.

Just wondering... for roboports, why not just draw a spanning tree (or a spanning tree + convex hull if bounds are THAT important) instead of triangulation?

but but but... what if you die in the middle of a biter nest. You will never have a chance to reclaim your corpse without proper research that you have just lost. No damage upgrades, no follower count, no way to rebuild your capsule army and no armor. And "multiplayer" does not automagical...

Can we have an option to turn the realistic gfx off and use schematic instead? Similar to old versions flat buildings with black outline and solid fill. It would make it better for the eye (you can tell what the building is and what do assemblers assemble at a glance ) and make it playable on my lap...

It is not the bots who made the said layout possible: it is requester chests. Love the idea. The pollution needs to be less abstract.
Although, assemblers come too early in the game for byproduct management, so maybe only oil related production should have this trait.
