- running while placing locs on the rail places loc on top of the previous loc. Trying to drive the train destroyes half the locs, or might crash the game (happened once, can't reproduce..) I found a nice way around this: have two parallel tracks with a loop at the end, with the front of the train ...

I've got a lot of rails, and the only time it is attacked is, as said before, when it's near a base that's being attacked. just for testing, i got the same, in 0.9.1 i had the ambient volume set to zero (don't like game-music ), so in 0.9.2, when i go to sound options the ambient volume slider is greyed-out, when i try to move it, the game crashes.

I noticed an inserter placing ore on a rail, where it disappeared. I started 0.8.8 again, closed it, and then started playing 0.9 and died, and when i hit Load last auto save, it crashed again, so it seems to be connected.. i've deleted the 0.8.8 now :P further, the autosaves are 14 MB, 19 MB and 26 MB (on a 2 minute auto save), where my last manual save was 6 MB s...
