I was looking for a thread about Angel mods specifically.
I have played quite a bit of Bob´s but was considering to start a new game with some other mod, maybe Angel´s. Looks like I cant find much about it though.
Or maybe I should mix both Bob´s and Angel´s mods?
Please let me know what would be ...

Re: Remove/nerf stack size bonus from the basic yellow inserter
In my opinion it would be better if there were only 3 Inserters in the first place:
Burner Inserter
Short-handed Inserter
Long-handed Inserter
And Speed/Stacksize/Filter/Smart stuff would become research upgrades instead with their effects being applied globally once they are researched ...

Re: How to make turret creep less powerful but keep it fun
In response to the latest blog https://www.factorio.com/blog/post/fff-169 Twinsen mentioned that "So far I believe that we did not find a simple, fun and fair solution"
The impact will be enough to shift the path of least resistance from turret creeping, to the run-and-gun method.

Re: Bob's Mods + Angel's Ores Help Requested
I would really recommend adding factorissimo to your mods if you have not already. It makes it much easier to make things less messy.
So basically you get stuff out of your bus with splitters and underground belts, resources go into factorissimo factory building, you set up assemblers and stuff in ...

Re: How to make turret creep less powerful but keep it fun
I still firmly believe turrets need no nerf at all. Turret creeping is tedious enough as it is. Problem is not that turret creeping is too powerful. The problem is that other means of attacking are not powerful enough. Believe me, if you can just run and gun the bugs and their nests, people will do ...

In the same spirit, would you please consider making synthetic wood it´s own separate research item so I can specifically decide whether I want to research synthetic wood or not?

Not sure if you have noticed but this was among the poll options listed here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=30853
Therefore I suppose it is being at least considered for 0.15 or later

Remove/nerf stack size bonus from the basic yellow inserter
I think the basic yellow inserter now with stack size bonuses have become a little too good. They are too energy efficient compared to the "better" inserters. They do enough in too many situations in my opinion compared to the very low energy usage. So I thought maybe remove or reduce the stack size ...

I suppose you could only hear the honk of a train close to you kind of like how you only hear the sounds of nearby assemblers and such.

Have you tried using train wagons as warehouses? Just put a few trackpieces to where you need a buffer, put wagon on top, add stack inserters and presto, you have a warehouse wagon!

Walk over/between solar panels and accumulators.
Having placed big arrays of solar panels and accumulators, I would ideally like to walk over or between panels and also between accumulators that are placed right next to each other. Possibly this could be done by visually reducing the size just a little bit.
I can of course plan my arrays such ...

Nowadays I just semi-casually always put up a train station next to any worthwhile ore patch. I just don´t usually connect the station to any actual rails.

So what is on this belt?!? (show contents in text please)
Right now the game shows me what the contents of a piece of belt look like when I mouse over or click on a piece of belt. However, it does not tell in text form what the contents actually are.
